Funded By
NIHR WESSEX CRN
Six practical art workshops, culminating in an exhibition for NHS nurses.
A collaborative initiative involving The John Pounds Centre, QA Hospital Research Department, and financially supported by NIHR Clinical Research Network, Wessex.
The primary objective of this endeavor was to provide local nurses with an opportunity to come together, engage in creative pursuits, acquire new skills, and embrace moments of respite during the challenging times of the Covid pandemic.
While these nurses were acquainted professionally, the project served as a platform for them to share their creative abilities. Participants immersed themselves in various drawing and creative activities, affording them the time to explore and enjoy the artistic process. The bonds forged during these workshops endure, as evidenced by the shared work and ongoing support facilitated through a jointly established WhatsApp group.
